Our retrofit of the former 1970’s New Farm Loch Community Centre is continuing to progress and has recently reached a significant milestone with completion of the new timber colonnade and building fabric improvements. The new external wall insulation not only significantly improves the thermal performance of the building but coupled with the timber collonade the external appearance of the existing building has been transformed to create a greater sense of arrival and a better connection with the adjacent park setting. The timber collonade offers covered seating for the new cafe / bar, opportunities for outdoor performances, and houses new signage. Looking forward to sharing internal progress shots soon.
