Last month Jennifer and Ross from the office attended an 'Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings Retrofit Course' organised by the @stirlingcityheritagetrust . The two day course covered best practice in retrofit from inception to post completion, and focused on legislation around PAS 2035 and PAS 2038. A range of topics where covered from assessing significance, traditional materials and construction, understanding building defects and how to carefully consider and design retrofit measures. O’DonnellBrown grew out of a range of retrofit work, developing a specialism upgrading and transforming existing building, and the course provided an opportunity to continue to upskill in all things retrofit and conservation.
