A centre for memory, wellbeing, and women’s heritage on the Crichton Estate, Dumfries. Extension to an existing Sixth Form School in London Borough of Tower Hamlets Retrofit and extension of existing school buildings. The Outdoor Pavilions are based on our self-initiated design for a prototype outdoor classroom, The Community Classroom which explored architecture and design as a positive vehicle for learning. Providing additional classroom accommodation as well as parent/community spaces plus a reimagining and configuring of the school playground areas. Extending an existing nursery to provide increased play space as well as office accommodation and general facility improvements. Refurbishment and extension of existing Sixth Form building to create a new facility with a unique character and identity. Providing a new, multi purpose space for the Junior school whilst also linking to the existing building and playground via a colonnade and stairway. Building an extension to the nursery area of the children’s centre. The Crichton Project
