Govan Graving Docks – a collective endeavor to create a cultural and heritage focused vision for the future Post 2/3 Key features and current condition of the site As part of the heritage and condition analysis, the team created an inventory of all listed features to inform a detailed repair analysis. Historic photographs and drawings of the Docks provided an opportunity to understand lost and original features and re-interpret them as part of the overall vision for the site. The site is currently heavily overgrown making the Docks unsafe and deteriorating. The team are considering practical measures to protect existing elements of the dockside during construction including the stairs, and mooring points as well as the surface of the dockside itself.
