Maxwell Park Pavilion Post 1/3 A community-led timber framed pavilion designed by ODonnellBrown for our local neighbourhood park in Glasgow, Maxwell Park Pavilion regenerates an empty council depot area into a multiuse building to significantly benefit the local community. Commissioned by charities Friends of Maxwell Park @friendsofmaxwellpark and the Pollokshields Burgh Hall Trust @pollokshieldsburghhall we put wellbeing of people and place at the forefront of our approach. Speaking with local people to understand missing amenities and the original history of the space, we designed a practical and flexible pavilion to reinstate the community facilities in the park, which were an integral part of the plan when first conceived in the nineteenth century.
