Maxwell Park Pavilion - Post 1/4 Last week we submitted planning for a new park pavilion in Maxwell Park, Pollokshields, Glasgow. The proposed building will provide the area with a new community building and café, with surrounding landscaping and allotments. The pavilion is to be located on the southeastern corner of Maxwell Park adjacent to the Pollokshields Burgh Hall. The site, which for many years was used as a council maintenance yard, now lies redundant. Since the yard closed, the site has become overgrown with planting and has been prone to flooding over the years.
