Seven Mills Primary School Post 2/3 External play areas were rationalised with new storage and landscaping whilst a new canopy structure provided much needed shade and shelter, connecting to the ground as lightly as possible using slender, white steel columns. In the shadow of Canary Wharf, we tried to create a building with a more homely, comforting scale and in a sea of tarmac we created shade and a softness with a simple timber canopy.
