Collaboration with Makers Post 3/3 Creating place and space is a collective endeavour. We believe that the most successful and sustainable designs are those developed in collaboration - we are energised by working closely with our clients, local communities, the people who will ultimately use these places and spaces, artists and all of the expert professionals that we work with. It was great to be able to work closely with @bridgewaterbuilding, while we were designing the Rainbow Pavilion, and test ideas at 1:1. We translated the ideas generated at the consultation workshop and @katevrobertson’s studies into technical drawings. Working together with the builder, we developed test panels that could be easily repeated. You can see the full journey of the design process in the images above.
