Rowardennan Visitor Centre We are pleased to share design development of our project at Rowardennan in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park which is being delivered in collaboration with Land Use Consultants, Blyth and Blyth, and Armours. The project sets out to improve visitor facilities at the popular tourist destination on the east shores of Loch Lomond and the gateway to Ben Lomond. The architectural brief is to provide a new facilities block and repurposing and retrofitting of the existing visitor building. We have enjoyed researching the existing building which was constructed from natural materials approximately 20 years ago. The green oak frame and earth walls are retained and celebrated in our proposal which seeks to open up the space by removing the existing toilets and creating space for interpretation, pop up café, and exhibition. @lucinsider @blythandblyth1848 @lomondtrossachs #odonnellbrownarchitects #odonnellbrown #lochlomond #lochlomondandtrossachsnationalpark #naturalmaterials #retrofit #design #architecture
