Brooker Diamond 1/3 We are delighted to confirm a Planning Submission for a new build office development for the use of Brooker Diamond Chartered Fire Engineers alongside RCI Technical Services based in Cumbernauld. Set against the backdrop of Luggiebank Wood Nature Reserve the site provides the opportunity to capture beautiful woodland views to the East and to the South. Creating a healthy work environment has been a priority for our client and therefore satellite working ‘pods’ have been designed into the East gardens as a way to further integrate nature within the programme and blur the boundaries between internal and external space. The pods will be insulated with electrical servicing, offering break out space for supporting programme- to include gym facilities and meeting space. They are designed to, over time, become nestled within the newly created area of trees and considered planting. The pods and office building will also benefit from the newly created SuDS pond to the south where it is intended to generate its own micro ecology and habitat over time.
