Freeman’s Hall, Prestwick - 1/3 The Project overview O’DonnellBrown, working in collaboration with Fiona Sinclair Architect, were appointed by the Prestwick Civic Pride Partnership in August 2023 to develop the ‘Prestwick Built Heritage Project’. The first stage of the project was to document and record the built heritage of the town before progressing concept design proposals for the Freeman’s Hall, a Category B listed building located on the former Mercat Cross. Design proposals considered possible new community uses for the building and design approaches for a new spire to replace the original stone spire which was removed from the building in 2011.
