Maxwell Park Pavilion Post 2/3 We are delighted to receive planning permission for our Maxwell Park Pavilion project. This is a credit to everyone involved who helped to get to this key project milestone since we began working on it in 2018. Speaking with local people to understand missing amenities and the original history of the space, we designed a practical and flexible pavilion to reinstate the community facilities in the park, which were an integral part of the plan when first conceived in the nineteenth century. The single storey timber pavilion will be used for local meetings, training, and classes, along with a café/events space, office, kitchen facilities and toilets for building and park users, all arranged around a sheltered central courtyard.
