Over 50% of our live projects involve retrofitting, refurbishing, or extending existing buildings. We strive to celebrate and preserve a building’s rich history and maximise its potential by creating functional, flexible and accessible spaces for future generations. Working with The Friends of the Pipe Factory @thepipefactoryglasgow we have developed proposals to convert the grade B listed Pipe Factory into office and workshop spaces for local, creative businesses. In parallel with this we have sought to improve the buildings accessibility by way of new lift, and energy efficiency by introducing breathable insulation to the existing fabric.
