West Hendon Park Post 1/3 We recently produced designs for a major redevelopment of West Hendon Playing fields in North London collaborating with @rankinfraserlandscapearch. Our contribution focusses on a regeneration of an existing park building, currently housing a bowling club and nursery – this was developed to sit within the new and extensive proposed landscaping masterplan. Our proposals focus on trees, their importance in West Hendon Playing fields but also how they can enhance human life and experience of parks and public spaces. Timber as a renewable material, crucial for the continued need to combat climate change, will be used as the principle building material.
