Projects On-Site As we settle into 2026, we are also reflecting on the range of projects that were on site during 2025. Following planning permission, works progressed on the Riverside Heritage Park at Govan Graving Docks, forming an important early phase in opening up the Grade A-listed docks site to the public. The project builds on several years of collaboration with the local community, Glasgow City Council, and heritage organisations, placing culture, access, and heritage at the heart of the site’s regeneration. Works also progressed on the retrofit of the Category B-listed @thepipefactoryglasgow in the Barras, in collaboration with conservation architects @loadermonteith. The project balances repair of historic fabric with accessibility and energy-efficiency upgrades, supporting the building’s future as a hub for creativity, education, and enterprise. In Edinburgh, two retrofit projects for @_hubliving_ moved to site: Water Street in Leith and Thistle Street in the New Town. Both projects repurpose historic industrial buildings as aparthotels, retaining and celebrating existing architectural fabric while introducing carefully detailed interventions to extend the life of the buildings. Work also continues on our tourism and visitor infrastructure projects, including securing planning consent for new visitor facilities at Rowardennan, and the completion of the first phase at Tarbet, Loch Lomond for @lochlomondtrossachs where we are refurbishing and create refreshed visitor facilities including a new café, shelter and upgraded pier. Construction has also commenced at the Castle Semple Visitor Centre. The existing, deteriorated facilities have been carefully deconstructed, with building materials salvaged and retained for reuse within the construction of a new multi-purpose building. Thank you to the contractors, consultants, and clients who worked alongside us on site to progress these projects through construction.
