About
We are a creative, community-driven and entrepreneurial practice. We are values-led, with a solid ethos of social and environmental responsibility. Our passion, drive and commitment energises conversations and builds relationships, enabling us to deliver inspiring outcomes across a wide variety of building types and scales.
Many projects have emerged out of our own research-led initiatives: from working with Barnardos’ to bring apprenticeships and learning into our Community Classroom pavilions we are now designing Gap Homes for the charity, offering safe, attractive and supportive accommodation for care leavers. From extensive research and community engagement at Govan Graving Docks, we have resolved environmental and cultural issues arising from previous proposals.
The principles we follow are: start from the ground up, speak to communities, understand all the stakeholders, then combine these elements with our particular spatial and creative intelligence to deliver solutions which exceed expectations.
Our focus on community and care for both social and physical environments follows through to how we run our practice. We have a strong team of enthusiastic and highly skilled individuals, of diverse backgrounds, whose own life experience informs and is enriched by the people we design for and the places we create.
