Maxwell Park Pavilion
Detailed Feasibility Study for a new community space and cafe within Maxwell Park, Pollokshields, Glasgow.
The project, initiated by local organisations, Friends of Maxwell Park and The Pollokshields Burgh Hall, explores the possibility of finding a new, community based use for the now redundant Council depot area in the park. The emerging building project includes a multi-use community space, café / events space, toilet facilities for building and park users along with supporting accommodation. Landscaping is also a key feature where proposals include for community allotments and a re-establishment of a closed in park entrance to improve the parks permeability.
