Extension and refurbishment to Pollokshields semi-detached house
The project looks to provide the client with a naturally lit and calm series of spaces to suit their living needs. This is achieved through rear and roof extensions in combination with internal alterations. The contemporary design of the ground floor extension deliberately contrasts with the existing sandstone house, creating a simple and modern addition to the property. Carefully detailed and proportioned timber sections, both internally and externally look to contrast as well as harmonise with the existing stone building.
